Why Mystic Ops?

I’m Rivkah Standig, a licensed clinical social worker and psilocybin facilitator with a senior-level background in product, technology, and organizational operations.

I began my career as a software engineer, where I created and led an internal tools team focused on solving company-wide operational problems, including building a system that generated significant new revenue. From there, I kept moving toward roles that required me to connect strategy, technology, operations, and people.

I later owned strategy for six internal engineering platforms at Fastly that supported how hundreds of engineers built, shipped, documented, and governed software. At the Democratic National Committee, I led five mission-critical products spanning voter protection, compliance, delegate operations, research, and national polling-place data during a presidential election cycle.

Across those roles, my work was never just keeping projects on track. I set priorities, made decisions with incomplete information, aligned people across functions, and turned complexity into plans that could actually be executed.

Today, I bring that same business judgment to organizations working in healing and transformation, alongside direct clinical and psychedelic experience.

I understand the business, the systems, the people, and the ethical stakes of the work.

How Engagements Work

I take on a small number of clients at a time.

Engagements are tailored to the scope of the work. Ongoing fractional leadership partnerships generally begin with a three-month commitment, while shorter advisory or focused project engagements may be available.

Fractional COO engagements typically include up to 40 hours of monthly capacity and start at $8,000 per month. Retainers are paid monthly in advance.

For embedded work that includes developing new revenue-generating products or programs, compensation may also include a negotiated share of the upside.

I reserve limited reduced-rate capacity for small, mission-aligned nonprofits with constrained budgets.
